I have been working at my current job for almost 5 years and I think that I’m going to quit soon because I do not like my boss and I do not like the people that work with me and I do not like what I do for a living. I guess that I should explain that I am an employee at a grocery store and I absolutely hate it. I spent most of my day stocking shelves and making small talk with customers and I can tell that they do not like me and did not actually want to hear what I have to say. It is so frustrating because I really want to work at an office. People that work at offices get to hang out on the computer all day and watch comedy videos and do silly things like on that television show. But when you have a job that does not involve computer you cannot screw around as much.

Considering the immense saturation of youtube these days, it’s hard to believe that finding something genuinely funny is still so hard. Seriously, unless I’m watching an animal do something cute, I think it’s almost impossible to make myself laugh even when i’m searching for comedy videos on youtube.
I often wonder why this is the case. People are always uploading things to youtube with the express purpose of making others laugh, but it so often fails. I think this is for two reasons. One, a lot of times things that you think are funny end up seeming sort of like ‘inside jokes’ to outsiders. Too frequently things that seem hilarious at the time end up being one of those, ‘you had to be there’ situations.
Reason two – if you’re uploading scripted content, so many factors besides the initial written jokes influence the final product. Even if the writing’s funny, bad acting, bad sound, and low quality can ruin everything.
